As business in South Africa slowly begins to return to normal under lockdown level 1, the country is poised to bounce back from the economic hardship caused by COVID-19. And CZ Electronics will continue to seek out opportunities that help South African people find inclusive and positive ways of contributing to the economy.
Enriching people with the economy
Our business throughout the continent is always growing. And as we take our world-class manufacturing to new heights, we are committed to an ongoing policy of transformation. Our skilled staff compliment is made up of mostly black women. And the drive to intensify the inclusion, and training of more female employees, has gained even more focus following the appointment of Sylvia Siphugu as CZ’s Non-Executive Director.
Sylvia has long been a champion for transformation in South Africa and CZ welcomes her vision and extensive experience in business development strategy. Sylvia is an accomplished leader who will be piloting further internal initiatives to empower young women by giving them the opportunity to educate themselves and find long-term employment. Education is prized at CZ. And it is our aim to continue providing training at multiple levels for our staff.
Here’s to the next 20 years
We carefully guard our reputation and the performance track record that we have built over the last two decades in business. And we are dedicated to playing an important role, hand-in-hand with other truly South African businesses, in boosting South Africa’s GDP in level 1 and for years to come.
The majority of the products we manufacture and distribute – including AIM for Pick n Pay – evolves every day, to suit the unique needs of the South African public. More importantly, our products are more accessible and affordable, as local manufacturing allows CZ to keep costs down and cut out expensive import duties.
We are excited to see South African businesses emerge from the COVID-19 lockdown and proud to be a part of the new beginning that is on the horizon.
